Attack of the Movie Trailers!!!

Post by Cardman » Tue May 13, 2003 11:28 pm

I don't know about you guys, but I'm sick and tired of movie trailers spoiling the movies I want to go see! My wife and I went out to see X2 the other night, and a trailer for the Matrix: Reloaded came on. I had to close my eyes to keep from seeing too much (it was a loong trailer!), and I held my ears, which didn't help much, cause the stinking sound was turned up so high, parts of the movie were STILL spoiled for me because of some of the things I heard...What do you guys think? Do you have any experiences like this? :x

Drum Corps trailers

How about drum corps trailers? (no, not equipment trailers). I'm referring to the pre-season hype on corps' websites about their upcoming programs.

Hey Dennis how ya doing?

As for movie trailers... I hate it when they just about show the WHOLE movie! I mean they show all the highlights from beginning to end. Obviously they are the best scenes. So why bother going to see the movie? It is so expensive now anyway that we just wait till it comes out on DVD, then we can just skip over all the trailers.

Speaking of DVDs, what did you think of our Performance at Madison? I wish we could have had the option of high camera for the whole show. There was some flag work that I know looked fantastic and went well with the music and I'll never get to see what it looked like. The only good thing about it is I brought my flag up 4 counts early on one set and Iknow it stood out like a sore thumb.
