Things were kind of "dead" at the funeral home today  so I'm home early and quite frankly, kind of bored.

I may actually need therapy after what I just tried to do.

I attempted to listen to the '73 recording of my corps. Oh gawd. I stopped after opener.

Of course, it's not always like that. I decided to listen to '73 and '74 Kilties JUNIOR corps. (hats off to you, Jim)

They really were good for the time and place.

I just finished listening to that, too.

Next up was Santa Clara 2000 - Adagio for Strings - what a beautiul piece of music.

Cued up next on my mp3 player is Carolina Crown 2000 - Zorro - I LOVE the music. Will be listening as I start my run tonight.......

So, you got to hear that fan shout Jim's name before the Kilts stepped off? I think that was in their '73 show. Great years for the Kilts.

For that matter, those were great finals shows in general. Not too many snoozers in 73 and 74.

I liked the Kilties 73 show. I thought they had the best horn book in the country that year. I also liked Belleville's "Get it On" , that solo soprano was great..........Bill

Heh. "Go Schehr". Ya know, I never noticed it until Kirt Kinyon played it for me one day at Royal-Airs practice.
