Hey all. I'm back.

Post by bugleboy624 » Sat Nov 05, 2005 8:45 pm

After an EXTENDED departure from soundmachine's board (of about 3years), I'm back. Or at the very least, just checking in. Soundmachine was my first foray into the wonderful world of the internet. Way back in '00. Member of the World's Longest Message Thread crew. I wonder what happend to that? Does it still exsist? From the old blue page days. Wow, it has been awhile, hasn't it.

Welcome back! So glad to see you around!

I sent you an e-mail a couple of months ago inviting you to play in our football pool game. I still get your forwarded e-mails, and saw on one how you really liked football. Never heard back and wasn't sure if you ever got the e-mail.

Check it out HERE. You're sure welcome to join in still, even though its late in the season. We had two players join in late a couple of weeks ago, so you wouldn't quite be alone. Check out the archived pages of the thread for an explanation of the game. Hope you decide to join in!

Oh yes, how I do remember the longest thread. The Official SSGB (Secret Society of the nth Gray Band) If I recall correctly. That was super fun! I'm sure we gave Dave quite the fits on that, but he sure was a good sport about it!

SSGB

Oh yeah. The SSGB. Now I remember! Good times.

Yeah, I got those e-mails. I've just been so busy that I didn't get a chance to check it out. I can probably join up now. Of course, I've been making picks on my radio show that I host on my college radio station. It's an online station, so everyone on here can listen in. Here's the link: http://exchange2003.bsc.bluefieldstate.edu/website/listen.htm I can send in my old picks from week 6 on. The show airs Mon & Fri at noon EDT and Wed at 11AM. It's called the power hour, but we're trying to think up a new name.

Anyways, it was good hearing from you and it's good to be back.

We're doing the game here on Sound Machine now too (the link I provided above). At the time I sent you the e-mail, I wasn't sure I'd host the game on two sites, so I probably only sent you the e-mail to the other site I host the game on. So, if you don't feel like joining another board, you can always just start playing here since you're already a member!
