We were off-line for about 11 hours today when our web hosting company had trouble with their phone service provider. Sorry about the inconvenience. All is fine now.

Now where' s that applause icon?.....

Hmmm...I guess there never was one. I guess this will have to do.

So, you never included a curly headed icon for me huh? Just a blondie one for Miss Malibu? What, are you playing favorites?

Just kidding, of course. 8-) I guess I could use this one: :clwn: That kind of looks like my hair when I get up in the morning!

Hey Dave, my site was down all day too! They use NAC servers and there was a power outage...I thought for a while we must have been using the same service.
BTW got my PHP up and running fine...thanks for the offer to help!
(If you want to send a few ideas on how to replace the PHPBB logo with mine, tho......)
Thx again!

NAC is the name of the company that provides the T3 and OC3 connections to the internet for our web host. I heard that NAC had a fire at one of their switching stations.

The easy way to switch logos is to make your logo exactly the same size as the phpBB logo, name yours with the same file name and upload yours and overwrite the existing one.

If you want to see how carried away I got with another phpBB that I installed, check out the Forum on the World of Pageantry website, at http://www.worldofpageantry.com/forums/. I totally changed the look of that board, but it was A LOT of work. You have to open up all the individual PHP and template files and rewrite the HTML code inside them to configure the page the way you want. I had to edit dozens of files to do that one. Plus I added the remote login mod and used the username and password from the board to access other features on the site. Way too much work. :compute:
