2003 Yamato Drum & Bugle Corps

Entering their 7th competative year, the 2003 Yamato Drum & Bugle Corps is looking for young musicians who are interested in experiencing the drum corps activity.

Yamato Drum and Bugle Corps has set it's dates for a series of multi-day workshops by Yamato's instructional staff for student musicians of all levels.
All workshops will be held at the Riverside Community College Huntley Gym in Riverside, CA.

January 26th, 2002

If you have aspirations of marching drum corps in the summer OR want to improve your playing and marching skills for band camp, getting the proper training is very important. Don't miss out on this great opportunity!.....

Yamato is a California Non-profit Youth Organization in Riverside, California. Every year, members from both Japan and the United States participate in this unique group.

"Yamato's Creative Team Hard at Work"
The creative minds behind Yamato's success have been behind closed doors this past week going over ideas for another great show in 2003. Unconfirmed reports indicate the arrangers are going to compose an original show based on variations on Spanish music. Another meeting is scheduled in late October, early November. Stay tuned as more details become available!
Our percussion arranger for the 2003 season is Scott Johnson
Our Brass arranger for the 2003 season is John Meehan
