Colorguard at Gay Games Opening Ceremony-deadline 4/30

Be one of over 150 participants to perform in the mass Colorguard ensemble professionally choreographed by Andy Toth, the choreographer for the six-time world champion Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps of Rosemont, Illinois and the 2005 WGI World Champion Pride of Cincinnati. Everyone is welcome regardless of orientation or gender!

Performance Opportunities include:
July 15, 2006 - Opening Ceremonies – to be held at Solider Field (40,000 spectators)
July 22, 2006 Closing Ceremonies – to be held at Wrigley Field (over 20, 000 spectators)

Your individual teams can perform in the first ever Cheer and Colorguard Exhibition to be held in Millennium Park – the award winning architectural outdoor amphitheater in downtown Chicago.

There are other opportunities for you and your teams to be a part of Gay Games VII including performances during pre-game and halftime at various sporting events the week of the Gay Games. For details visit Gay Games VII Color Guard, ... Guard/ROTC

If you are interested in performing at only the Opening or Closing Ceremonies – no fee, no auditions, just send us your name, email and address and we’ll contact you about rehearsals. All rehearsals are in Chicago, July 12 – July 14 prior to Opening Ceremony and July 20 – 21 for Closing Ceremony. PLEASE NOTE: All expenses (housing, transportation, food, etc.) are to be paid by the participant. Housing hosting will be available on first come first serve basis.

Even though it's called "Gay Games", it's an inclusive international event. Gay, Straight, Men, Women, etc., everyone is welcome! Therefore, anyone can compete and perform at all events.
