WE ARE SPARTACI wrote:This kind of excrement being lauded as anything more than opinion is insane. She writes enough good in there so the libs can say it is an unbiased piece, but her true colors are revealed soon enough. Her statements are sometimes accurate, especially as she softens the reader toward the beginning; other times not even close.

This is a thinly veiled attack at best. The library incident with the claims of outright censorship is not accurate. No more than trying to protect children from pornography in the library should be considered censorship. The letter is one woman's biased opinion; nothing more.

Congratulations on voting for the third place candidate. I hope it fulfills your desire to make a statement.
Well there's no doubt she has bias against Palin..If not, I doubt the letter would of happened. But it also doesn't sound like she's a radical liberal who is spewing false attacks (like we've seen before). It was just nice to see a view from someone who has lived there for a long time. And yes, some parts of the letter are opinion based. But then other parts are known facts which can easily be checked on factcheck sites. It's obvious which parts are opinion based and which aren't. The Library incident just makes no sense. She has said Palin didn't not ask her to take out books, but rather asked "what if". Also, if this wasn't an issue, why would all those people protest Palin to not fire her? What where they fighting against if there was nothing there? Lastly, my vote has nothing to do with "fulfills your desire to make a statement". I don't want Obama to be President..I don't want Palin to be even close to the White House. So I'll vote for a conservative instead..Sounds pretty simple.

Please... name ONE politician that had 100% support from all the voters? There is an old saying... "you can't make everybody happy all of the time." In even the most lopsided election victory, at least 20% of the people vote against the winning candidate.

Why can't we just talk about ideas instead of trying to drag people through the mud?

Not a single soul has ever had 100% support. Look what happened to Jesus. In the U.S. today it is getting worse instead of better. We are so factionalized, we can't make a decision. We have our own opinion & insult those who don't share it. Cultural & ethnic diversity may be good to some, but it could be the worst possible scenario..........Bill
