1977 Bridgemen Prelims - another case of overage members. DCI never released this, but the corps was HOT.

Jim, check out Ebay, there is a 1977 Cassette up for auction. It says it was recorded by Ken Kobold;

Unfortunately the Bridgemen recording is from Finals. We were much better in prelims. To bad there isn't any video of that show. I thought it was the best that year.

77 UOEC Championships from Bridgeport were pretty good too, I just got finished burning that from vinyl to cd a few weeks ago.

That cassette may have been mine too, I had a 77 DCI Bridgemen out for sale.

If it exists, I would love a recording of the 1982 DCM Run-off.

Did anybody ever have any luck finding a recording of this? I was there in the stands, and it was THE coolest show I ever saw!

After reading this entire interesting thread, I am prompted to be "that guy", by again bringing up the Ken Kobold question. Do any of you in-the-know have any further insight as to where it stands with DCI releasing more of his collection? Watching the direction of the activity, I can certainly understand the "bigger fish to fry" thought process, but it seems to me they could at least generate some trickle income, if not better. Thanks.
