The Muchachos

Post by Jazzman » Sun Jul 15, 2007 7:34 pm

I clicked over to the SM Scores Page tonight and I saw the list of corps performing at Manchester NH. I suddenly got excited that it included The Muchachos. For a brief moment, I thought the junior corps from Hawthorne NJ was back in exhibition (like the Bridgemen!!).

A few clicks later I realized that it was the corps from Manchester NH.

Oh well, I still love listening to the Muchachos' 1975 prelims show!!
Regards, Jazzman

Oh my gosh Jazzman! That is exactly why I read your post! You know I really really liked them (oh, that blackberry curve commercial is on  )

My first year in drum corps I thought that corps was way cool!
I do still remember a lot of their music.
I remember a time in Marion OH; I was playing the soprano solo from "Beautiful" before practice ...and sure got some dirty looks from my instructors!  Probably a normal thing for a baby rookie, though! :P
It's quite a delight to be alive when experts said you might not survive!
