TX and Kimberly, thank you for your impressions. I appreciate your honest impressions of what you see and hear. Particularly, TX, I appreciate your ability to be critical without being caustic.

Kimberly, when the Troopers are warming up, are the drums silent for a portion of Battle Hymn? When they were doing the Wisconsin swing, the drums were pounding away during warmup, and I had to really strain to hear the tune. I understand the need, but it seemed almost sacriligious, if you know what I mean.

Those brass player have a lot of nerve playing while the drums are throwing down... :wink:

I was sobbing so I have no idea... but I think they were silent, because I don't remember anything like that breaking into my conscious mind.
