Murph scores

Post by Reg_Contra_95_99 » Fri Jul 25, 2008 9:28 pm

1 Blue Devils 94.475
2 The Cavaliers 93.275
3 Phantom Regiment 93.200
4 Carolina Crown 92.625
5 The Cadets 90.825
6 Bluecoats 88.200
7 Santa Clara Vanguard 87.475
8 Blue Knights 84.400

Very interesting...still a nice 1+ point spread between BD and everyone... Regiment MICROSCOPICALLY close to Cavies, AND on top of Crown again... Cadets? Behind Crown again? By 1.8? What can Bluecoats do between now and Finals? SCV going to make a push? Blue Knights look solid in 8th, not going up a spot in my opinion...

. . .at a different show, with a different panel.

I don't think any corps is solid in any placement. There is still time for improvements and for movement within ranks.

Unfortunately, it seems clear to me BD has already been crowned. I hope I am wrong, but I think they are. It would be cool to see both Phantom and Crown surge to the top.

Yes, it's 2002 all over again. The Cavaliers that year wiped the field with everybody, winning every show by at least one full point. And even larger spreads at the regionals. I remember being at the Alamodome that year listening to the scores and we all pretty much agreed...season's over. All that's left are the crumbs.

Clearly, LA, but my point was that crowning BK a solid 8th when they were only IN that show because the edged out Boston by .2 and BAC'scores have risenn dramatically since......well, I just don't think anything in 8/9/10 is solid at this point.

Do you disagree?

Sorry, it was late...I meant solidly in 8th at this show, PROBABLY not going to move up to catch the corps above them...this was not meant to reflect the other corps around them that were NOT at this show.

Nope, I am with you. I think both BAC and BK have the designs. They just need to clean and either could beat the other.
