2008 DCI Championship DVD's

Post by frankiE » Tue Nov 11, 2008 12:17 pm

I received mine yesterday, watched all of Phantom Regiment and Carolina Crown, some of Blue Devils and The Cavaliers, and ten seconds of the Pursuit of Happiness.

Good sound, sometimes loud pits, best camera work ( IMHO ) in years- including PR entering the field stuff. Great zoom-ins of high impact moments of all corps.

It's on two discs, widescreen format, unfortunately some add-ons have been removed.

Definately worth the purchase ( IMHO ) :D

For those of you who bought the add-on disc for 13-20, I started on it last night. Crossmen were very good, I think they just ran out of steam.

Colts are one of my favorites for the year.

Part of Trooper's audio is blanked out due to licensing considerations?

I'll be very engaged for the next few weeks for sure :D

I know in WGI if you don't get your licensing for music straight, they will not put the audio portion on the DVD.....just the picture. I'm pretty sure it's that way with DCI too.
