Very Cool Tuba solo...

Post by Bandmaster » Sat Mar 03, 2007 12:27 am

I just found a link to this one, and after I heard it I just knew I had to post it here for y'all to hear. This is real tuba funk!

Youngblood-Brass-Band---Tuba-solo

I just see it now.... all the tuba players trying to figure out how to play this one. Good luck!

OMG! How on earth does one play like that on a Tuba??? :drop:

ANY drum corps would LOVE to have that person on their brass line! Heck, hook him up to a mic and let him rip his solo along with some cool drum licks. Beats drum speak any day!

May not be a tuba, but the second or third piece on this recording is pretty good. Click on th 06-04-07 link.
