Phantom's 2003 Guard

Post by Hostrauser » Wed Jun 25, 2003 4:45 am

More proof that Phantom is for real in challenging for a Top 4 spot this year. Take a look at the guard scores from Show of Shows:

16.40 Cavaliers
16.20 Cadets
16.10 Phantom

Yow! :D

Ya know if you stop an think about it, a corps that has an awesome guard is usually going to place high......not always, but in most cases. Just look back over the years and you'll see.

Howdy!

Having witnessed the performances at the Show of Shows... :wav:
I would have rated the guards:
1st Cadets...
2nd Phantom...
3rd Cavies...
Not being a guard freak (no insult intended)... :duck:
I sometimes hardly even notice the guards...
Unless there's some solo dancer getting in the way...
I was highly impressed by Phantom's guard... :D
Blown away by Cadets' equipment work...
And had to agree with Jazzman (sitting next to me)...
That Cavies' guard added nothing to the first half of the show...
