Music Ideas

Post by BAC8687 » Fri Sep 30, 2005 4:57 am

Hi there,
I am looking for some ideas for music for a winterguard show and would welcome any suggestions.
I am helping out a band that set up a color guard about 1-yr ago. They have about seven 16-yr old girls on flag. They are at beginners level so the show will have to reflect that.
We will not be competing as there is no winter guard circuit nearby. We just want to put together a 3 to 4-minute show to be performed in front of parents/supporters in January. All suggestions are welcome.
Thanks!

Since you aren't competing, I would suggest checking out some past guard shows from;

Keep in mind the kind of girls you have. In order to gain the proper charactor and role play, you have to select music that they can pull off. You wouldn't want to pick an aggressive piece with passive members.
