I can't believe that the Troopers are less than a point behind Blue Knights! I really did not think that they had the strength to get this close, but, I guess they must have had an excellent show. Maybe they can slide ahead of BK. (If they can continue to outlast the Colts themselves). This is an exciting battle for the last few final spots.

My guess is everything will stay the same again tonight. The judges will probably let Crown inch a little closer to BD just so it looks good but no real changes tonight.

Noone will overcome an almost 2 pt deficit. The year is done as far as who wins. The judges have spoken all season and nothing changed last night. Kinda sad, because I disagree with the spread, but I will go to Indy and enjoy the performances nonetheless.

I haven't seen Crown yet, but, I did see BD in Denver and was blown away. I guess that the judges need to be blown away to knock them from the top. Although, Phantom did it last year when they needed in finals. Does Crown have the show or the actual corps talent to totally outshine BD?

I dunno... I think it's as fair as fair can be concerning BD.

Did you get to see the BD show live LA?

It really is a complicated and clean piece of work.

What I can't get over is the distance to PR Boston... and the rest of the field all the way through 12th. The scores should be higher. These are not your fathers drumcorps and these are not your father's drumcorps performances.

As far as BD though... They have a program that the others aren't able to touch without reprograming from scratch.

The one thing that any contender can't control in this activity is the programing of their opponents.

Let the slotting begin! Actually, I've been barking about the spread all season, but I am not upset with the placements. I'm happy that BD will get the championship they rightfully deserve. I'm happy for Crown reaching the top 3. I'm glad that the Cadets have been appreciated for their efforts this year. I tickled pink that SCV performed one of my all time favorites gloriously. I'm overjoyed that Spirit had a show they really enjoyed performing. Kudos to the Troopers! It has been a great season with lots of surprises, some wonderful musical moments, some overdone synthesizer effects, and some near misses with the H1N1 virus!

At the Atlanta show I just wasn't that into the Blue Devils...I think because they went on after 11pm. But last night in the theater, I really, really got into it. As much as I would love to see Crown win their first title this year, I think BD deserves it. I hope Crown can hold on to second though.

Spirit in 17th, one point in front of Mandarins and behind Madison and Crossmen...that just really bothers me. I'm not a huge fan of the show, but it is better than what they are scoring.

I admit it. I fell in love with the Cavaliers' show tonight. 8-)
