Stanford online

Post by GWFrog » Sat Jun 22, 2013 10:13 pm

Howdy!

Just watched the Stanford show online... :compute:

Don't know how they managed it... :hum:
But the audio started breaking up as Crown began...

Seemed to get it fixed for SCV...
Until halfway through... :frust:
Better for BD...
But it didn't matter...
Because IMO...
Their show really sucks... :td:
I think I can grow to really hate it... :vomit:
I'm not sure who plays more...
The brass or the synthesizers... :shades:

On the the hand...
Mandarins' show is stunning!!! :clap2:  :towel: :jump:  :cool2:
Yeah, it needs a lot of cleaning...
And the guard could use another dozen members...
But they blew me away... :drop:
And the crowd there, too...

'Til later...

Howdy!

Scores announced...
Audience booed... :drop:
When Crown announced in second...
Booed again... :drop:
When BD announced in first...

And the show is hosted by...
SCV & BD... :shades:

I watched too.

Was amused when the "high camera only" suddenly zoomed in to a field level view of the tunnel when Crown came out to set up. Someone must have really wanted a close up view of their new unis.

Was really tired last night (actually, I pretty much am always tired these days). After SCV was exiting, my eyes were really burning and tired. So I closed them for "just a minute" until BD would come on. I was sure once I heard BD start, I'd know it was time to open my eyes and watch some more. I woke up a good hour after the show was over. Why I can't fall asleep that quick when I need to is beyond me!

Howdy!

I don't think you'll think you missed much...
When you finally get to see them... :lshic:

Lots of synthesizer...
Lots of moving poles around the field...
Lots of short squibs of music... :shades:

Seems to have really impressed the judges...
If not the crowd...

Kind of like when they tried to sound like a train... :dno: :rotf: :well:

Since I was actually there, I felt Vanguard had too much synth. Crown is quite a jewel this season. I'll be in the "minority" of thinking BD could do really well with this show. Blue Knights are Blue Knights. I liked seeing Mandarins a bit bigger, and I liked hearing Pacific Crest with a little more meat in the brass book.

Besides that, I just got done (finally) posting my pictures.
